Shawn P. Rohlf is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer and frontman of the legendary San Diego acoustic roots band, the 7th Day Buskers; who have 5 full length albums, many San Diego Music Award nominations including a win for Best Americana Band in 2004, were a featured band in Lambs Player's "Cotton Patch Gospel and performed with the San Diego Symphony's Summer Pops Series and legendary conductor, the late Marvin Hamlisch.

Shawn has also released 6 full length solo albums and E.P.s. His latest release, "Country Mouse, City Mouse" vividly draws on the journey and characters he has experienced from living, working and traveling back and forth between rural and urban settings. From growing up on a dirt road in the woods of Minnesota,

to surviving as a traveling troubadour and busker in many of the major cities in the U.S., Europe and Canada; as well as working as whitewater rafting guide in the Grand Canyon, Utah and Alaska.  Tales of love, heartbreak and adventure come to fruition in this collection of songs and stories.

Shawn is a multi-faceted performer who has earned a reputation as a bandleader who stocks his bands with San Diego's A-list musicians, and as a hard working sideman and utility instrumentalist working with artists including Steve Poltz, Tim Flannery, Sara Petite, Hullabaloo and many more.

Shawn has also worked in more than a dozen of San Diego's professional theater productions; as an Actor, Musician, Musical Director and Writer. He is currently writing the score for "How High The Moon" by playwright Mike Sears and directed by Lise Berger.

“Rohlf’s music is typically catchy, quirky, and lighthearted with clever and funny lyrics; on the new album he takes the title to heart, equally comfortable singing power chord-driven rockers, country flavored folk rock, and personal folk fare.”

“Shawn P. Rohlf’s busker punk sensibilities come roaring out of the night like a box car from Barstow, all desert dust and whiskey breath. His new solo album “Country Mouse, City Mouse” bears witness to Rohlf’s prairie roots, wry wit, and street-tested, multi-instrumental mastery.”
